Dillon Smith, PA-C joins Ada West Dermatology with a background as layered as it is impressive. After earning a master’s degree in architecture, Dillon pivoted to healthcare, completing his PA training at Idaho State University. He went on to spend nearly a decade in orthopedics across Oregon and Boise with significant experience in trauma and foot and ankle care. A fluent Spanish speaker, Dillon welcomes patients who prefer to communicate in Spanish. Like all Ada West physician assistant providers, Dillon completed an extensive in-house dermatology training program under the supervision of our board-certified dermatologists before seeing patients independently.

As a self-described extrovert, Dillon gets a genuine high out of solving problems with people — not just for them. That collaborative instinct, combined with his breadth of clinical experience, makes him a natural fit for the wide variety of patients we see every day.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Dillon on the basketball court, on a hiking trail, or in the gym. He’s a proud husband to his best friend and dad to three — and yes, he’ll probably ask about your family before you ask about his.
